Director / Head Coach
Javasse Kearney is a Graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in Physical Education. During his four year tenure with UIW he was on the Men's Basketball team and helped the team reach a National Tournament appearance and win 2 Conference Championships. Upon graduation he was hired as Men's Basketball Assistant Coach and Camp Director. In his time as a coach he was responsible for the recruitment of student athletes, game preparation, academics, and on court development. After a five year coaching tenure with UIW, Javasse went on to work with the San Antonio Spurs in the Basketball Operations Department. Upon his departure, he was hired by TJP Basketball as coach and Director of their youth development team and Tony Parker Skills Clinics. In addition to playing and coaching, Coach Kearney continues to train many NBA, European, and Collegiate athletes. In 2014, he started SA Hoops ELITE, a San Antonio based youth basketball program that competes and trains year round. There are currently 8 SAHE teams, 2 of which are Adidas Contract teams. His years of basketball coaching, training, and playing experience is something he has always wanted to continue sharing with student athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Boys Head Coach/ Asst. Coach
Aamir McCleary gaduated From Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville ( Edwardsville, IL) with a degree in Sociology, and also obtained Associate’s Degree from Panola College, In Carthage Texas. Aamir spent two seasons with Panola where he contributed to Panola’s 18 victories and to the Junior College Region XIV Tournament Semifinals. Upon leaving Panola, he received a full athletic scholarship to SIUE. His 232 assists is the ninth-best total in school history, and the second-best by a two year player. Finished his career with 549 career points, good for 48th on the school's all-time scoring list. Following his playing career Aamir went on and began his coaching and skill development career in 2013. Working with various camps as a skills coach such as the Tony Parker Skills clinics, Danny Green Clinics, and Kyle Anderson Clinics. He has also been a part of developing and trainings with multiple NBA athletes, college and high school players.
Asst. Director / Asst. Coach
Mark Brown Coach Brown has been an integral part of youth sports and coaching for over 20 years. He was a former collegiate player with San Antonio College, and Head Coach of numerous HS summer teams throughout his 20 year span. He was an instrumental part of the startup of the SAHE boys basketball program and continues to be a mentor and Coach for the boys and girls of SAHE. Coach Brown serves as the Operations Director for the SAHE Boys program as well as a Coach overseeing their development.
Director of Operations / Coach
Rudy Herrera has coached youth sports for over 15 years here in San Antonio area. He has a passion for youth sports and the development of student athletes. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for SAHE Basketball program. Coach Herrera was very instrumental in the startup of SAHE girls as well as assisting in the boys program and continues to help expand and evolve the vision of SAHE and it’s goals.
